Getting the Most Out of Your Message

A clear, well-organised email helps us respond faster and point you in the right direction. Whether you are a parent, student-athlete, alumnus, neighbour or visiting fan, a few simple details make a big difference.

What to include

• A specific subject line, such as "Question about girls' soccer roster" or "Correction to Friday's game listing".
• The sport and level you are asking about (varsity, JV or freshman), since many programmes share similar names and seasons.
• Dates and opponents if your message concerns a particular game or event.
• Links or page names if you spotted an error on the site, so we can find and fix it quickly.

What we can and cannot help with

Franklin Athletics is an independent high-school sports desk, not the school's athletic department. We welcome story ideas, roster and score corrections, photos you are happy to share, and suggestions for our guides. Questions about eligibility, physicals, registration fees, transportation or coaching decisions should go directly to the school's athletic office, which holds official records and makes those decisions.

Before you write

Many common questions are already answered elsewhere on the site. Game times and locations are listed on our schedule page, though it is always wise to confirm with the school close to game day, as weather and scheduling changes happen. If you are interested in supporting teams through fundraising or volunteering, our boosters page explains how community support typically works. Directions and general information about where teams play can be found on the facilities page.

We read every message and aim to reply as soon as we reasonably can. During busy stretches such as playoff season, responses may take a little longer, so thank you in advance for your patience.
